Clean glockenspiel and toy piano at its heart, augmented by 3 alternative dampened articulations.

A simple synth section, built from reprocessing the clean samples through effect pedals, with the addition of a wavetable oscillator.

A four-voice sequencer, to quickly create pulsating rhythmic patterns.

Beamtone is designed to provide playable, expressive tones while allowing for intricate rhythmic layering and creative sound shaping.

Beamtone is not compatible with Kontakt Player. You need to own a full version of Kontakt to use it (compatible from version 6.8) .

Microphone Setup
Both instruments were captured using a multi-microphone configuration:
• Signal Art u47 (Mono)
• Oktava 012 (XY Configuration)
• Beyerdynamic M160 (AB Configuration)
• Contact Microphones (Glockenspiel - mono, Toy Piano - stereo)
Dampening Variations
Four distinct dampening techniques were employed to create varied timbral options:
• Pure (un-dampened)
• Felt strips
• Rubber strips
• Small springs
Expanded Sounds
Sustained textures were created from the original recordings using a Bliss Mood pedal.
These processed samples serve as oscillators 2 and 3 in the pad section.
